Be Healthy!
As the baby in the womb grows larger, there is an increase in the weight of the front upper body. It is a well known fact that the muscles and joints in the back are supported by the abdominal muscles. So, in pregnancy, when there is a growth in the abdomen, carrying the weight continuously affects the back muscles and changes the posture. This situation gives way to the low back pain. Poor body mechanics, stiffness of the muscles, lack of undisturbed sleep are the other reasons for the pain. The intensity of the pain is not same in all Women. It may be mild, severe or irritating. Doing mild exercises like walking, stretching, and swimming brings strength to the muscles and lightens the pain. Keeping the body fit and fresh during pregnancy plays a vital role in the baby’s development.
